This Thursday at 5 p.m., we will be releasing our first screenprint edition from Florence B Hutchings .
‘Resting In Bloom’ is a 19 layer silkscreen that encapsulates the poetry of the everyday objects around her, domesticity is the principal subject. Her paintings are influenced by a love of drawing, textures and layers which feature heavily with collage playing a prominent role.

Introducing Florence Hutchings
Florence B Hutchings (b. 1996, Medway Towns, Kent, UK) Lives and works in Margate, UK. She graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art, London, in 2019.
Her 2024 exhibition at the Redfern Gallery, ‘Dressing Room’ New Paintings and works on Paper was a huge success and critically well received.
Hutchings has gone on to exhibit nationally and internationally with exhibitions in London, LA, Germany, throughout Asia including Japan, China, Korea and culminating in 2025 with a solo exhibition ‘Her Studio’ at the Asia Art Center, Taipei, Taiwan.
Hutchings describes her work as;
